MoonRise over the lighthouse...
Moonrise on SantaCruz Beach was so serene. The breaking surf was wonderful, and our director had been waiting for 5 weeks to get to the beach, so he went body surfing even though it was EXTREMELY COLD! There was even a seal swimming by him. Check the pictures later when I upload them to Flickr!

Santa Cruz Beach
This is Santa Cruz Beach, where O'Neil surfing got it's start! The Bayshore interns came here for their debriefing retreat. [another reason why you may want to take a look at the job postings on http://www.bayshore.org The crew went for diverse trips to the Boardwalk, Capitola's quaint shops, take in a movie, or just walk through the downtown area & decompress after 9 weeks of inner-city ministry in East Palo Alto

My Cali'ente Wheels!
It's a 95 Acura Integra GSR, I believe that's the complete description.
One of the many requests I laid before God was to get a car that was white in color (in keeping with the last 2 vehicles I got for my children). The night before I went to receive this car, I actually dreamed this exact car (color, body style, roof, headlight arrangement)... it may be insignificant to many, but it's a confirmation on so many things for me. The Honda 1.8L V-TEC engine, leather interior, moon roof, working a/c, and gas-saving 5-speed are all GRAVY on the steak.
I appreciate the persons whom God used to bless me with transportation here in this new ministry venture.
I'm telling you... it's like one man's dream... becoming reality!
Thanks God! and thanks to all who were praying for this to be resolved (R.C. & many others), I appreciate you all.

Chrome (dont drive in the rain) Cycle!
Went down to the San Jose Flea Market (reportedly the largest Flea Market in the World). This $1200.00 jewel was glistening in the Northern California Sun and I could just imagine someone on Houston's Boulevard's rollin & shiny! Maybe I'll win one in a drawing...

1st Sunday @ St. Samuels (COGIC)
When the 'doors of the church' were opened for membership, these 2 wonderful people came forward. This Sunday (as most 1st Sunday's will be) began early and went til 2pm. Pastor Evangelist Elder Ken Johnson (Utah) gave a week's worth of services to the community and there was a wonderful cooperative spirit between area churches.

August 4, 2006 the SAIL, KidSmart, TeenWorks & StreetWorkz children presented their showcase of talents other summer projects.
As the picture represents, Greg M & I bbq'ed several flocks of chickens... and boy did they suffer!!! Unfortunately, many chickens were harmed in the carbonizing of these poor formerly feathered friends

BCM Staff Prayer Time...
This is a picture of the weekly prayer time for BCM staff on Thursday mornings. This is a great time of affirmations and bragging on all the good things that God is doing personally an in the lives of the BCM children. It's also a source of inspiration & direction for this ministry.
