a fun game resource... it's called: Right / Left Cooperation
Instructions: THIS ACTIVITY IS DESIGNED FOR A GROUP TO BE IN A CIRCLE. EACH PERSON HAS A PIECE OF PAPER TO CRUMPLE INTO A BALL. EACH TIME THEY HEAR THE SOUNDS OF THE WORD ‘RIGHT’ THEY ARE TO PASS THE PAPER TO THEIR RIGHT. IF THEY HEAR THE WORDS ‘LEFT’ THEY ARE TO PASS THE PAPER TO THEIR LEFT. AT THE END OF EACH PARAGRAPH, STOP AND TAKE INVENTORY. IF ANY PERSON REMAINS HOLDING MORE THAN ONE PIECE OF PAPER, THEY ARE THEN REMOVED FROM THE ROTATION, BUT THEY STAY INTHEIR PLACE. THE PAPER MUST BE TOSSED ACROSS IN FRONT OF THAT PERSON DURING ROTATION. REPEAT SEQUENCE UNTIL ONLY FEW REMAIN.
Mr. And Mrs. Wright had just finished dinner. Mrs. Wright was in the kitchen putting away leftovers when Mr. Wright entered the kitchen. “Is there a piece of pie left?” – Mr. Wright asked. “No,” said Mrs. Wright, “there’s none left but I will make another one right away.”
“Thanks,” said Mr. Wright and he left for the den to watch T.V.
Mrs. Wright went right to work gathering the right ingredients for the pie. She found there was no flour left. No problem. I’ll run right over to the store and get some. She grabbed her purse and left. She turned right on Maple, left on First and right into the parking lot of the neighborhood Shop-Right. She dashed right in and raced up and down the aisle looking from left to right for the right flour.
Meanwhile, Mr. Wright’s TV watch was interrupted by a phone call from his mother, the elder Mrs. Wright wishing to speak with Mrs. Wright. Mr. Wright told her Mrs. Wright had left for the store but would be right back and he would have Mrs. Wright call her right away.
Returning home Mrs. Wright dashed into the kitchen and got right to work and prepared a beautiful pie. She took it right in to Mr. Wright who had fallen asleep. She left the pie on the table and spotted the note he’d left. She left to call Mrs. Wright.
