Dad's Git-Fiddle

Dad has finally been able to pick up his Git-Fiddle a little..

It was a nervous and emotional moment the first time I brought the guitar to my dad in rehab. Probably too early then, but on March 8, 2008 he picked it up and enjoyed a brief therapeutic moment doing what he loves to do - play his guitar.

Season's Greetings

Dad had something to say before I took off today...
as you will be able to tell, he hasn't lost his sense of humor (at all!)

Papa manda saludos a todos que toman el tiempo para ver estos videos.

"Thanks!" - from Pop

My father would like to thank all of you who are praying. Please view the brief video 'Thank You.'

What I am learning as we walk through this is that each of us can be encouraged that our contribution in prayer is making a difference. To quote the 'Unknown Philosopher': "Anyone who thinks they are too small to make a difference has never spent the night with a mosquitoe."

Cristo siempre es Fiel - Jesus never fails

Pastor Cantu drove in to San Antonio on March 8, 2008 for a family celebration and took the initiative to stop by and pray with my dad and others. At the end of the prayer, he began to sing. As we raised our voices, my heart was filled with joy as I watched my dad join in.

Yumpin Yiminy!

I came home to a full garage yesterday. The spot where my AMERICAN MADE Harley-Davidson Fatboy proudly stands was now looking like a slice of Key Lime Pie!

Joey has taken the step of getting his first motorized purchase... and it's a KZ?-125 trail bike. Good size for him to learn on, and I hope he let's his pops try to get it muddy every once in a while also. ;)

Have fun Joey! Safety first - Muddy Side Down!
