I have to post this. I think this will encourage many of you who are going through stuff. Two months ago, my dad wasn't doing this good. Look at the man now! Roll the tape -

Dad turned 79 today!

I am overjoyed that I was able to spend this day with my Dad to celebrate his 79th birthday. It was only 4 months ago that a thought compelled me to evaluate how much I treasured time spent with my parents. Then 2 months ago my Pops suffered a debilitating stroke which paralyzed his right side. As you will see in these pictures, he is now much better. Thanks to all those who pray and support my family. The evidence of miraculous recovery is evident in his ability to now walk (even without the walker), use his right hand and carry on full conversations.
I appreciate all who have helped my Dad get this far in his life.

Dad's Git-Fiddle

Dad has finally been able to pick up his Git-Fiddle a little..


It was a nervous and emotional moment the first time I brought the guitar to my dad in rehab. Probably too early then, but on March 8, 2008 he picked it up and enjoyed a brief therapeutic moment doing what he loves to do - play his guitar.

Please pray for my Dad who had a stroke yesterday. He is resting at hospital in San Antonio. Thank you.
